World Asthma Day 2013- Fighting asthma with every breath
World Asthma Day takes place on the first Tuesday of May every year. In 2013 to mark World Asthma Day the Asthma Society of Ireland is calling for better air quality for all through implementation of the proposed all-island smoky coal ban announced by Minister Hogan on Sunday 5th May, and we are also calling for swift implementation of the National Asthma Programme and for asthma to be included in the HSE Service Plan as a matter of priority.
We have also launched a radio and print campaing raising awareness of asthma and calling on asthma patients to contact our Adviceline for more information.
