Bloom in the Park 2012
Bloom, Ireland's largest gardening, food and family event, will take place in the Phoenix Park Dublin during the June bank holiday weekend for 5 days (From Thursday 31st May - Monday 4th June 2012).
The Asthma Society is delighted to be part of the 2012 Bloom Gardening Festival in the Phoenix Park in Dublin again this year, following on from our successful 'Treat not Trigger' asthma friendly garden at Bloom 2011. Bloom 2011 was the 5th year of the event and to date has been the most successful yet! Last year's show attracted almost 90,000 visitors to the 70 acre site at the Visitor's Centre in the Phoenix Park, Dublin.
The Asthma Society of Ireland will have an information stand in the Grand Pavillion, located at STAND G15.
At this year's Bloom we will be highlighting our asthma management smartphone app, Asthma Coach, which will be launched in the coming weeks. To celebrate the soon to be launched App and our new pollen alert service sponsored by Dyson, we are running a competition on our stand. The prizes are the latest top of the range BALL Cylinder (as featured in the recent TV advertising campaign) DC39 Multifloor, and a hamper of allergy friendly cleaning products from Malones of Dublin.
Our "Gardening with Asthma & Allergies and Creating an Allergy Friendly Garden" booklet, along with our updated Asthma & Allergic Rhinitis booklet will also be available at our stand.
With something for everyone, and fun for all the family visitors to Bloom 2012 will enjoy cookery and craft demonstrations, free gardening advice from the experts, Irish food produce, live entertainment and gardening workshops. Kids attend Bloom for free!
