New Asthma Devices Poster Available for Healthcare Professionals & the Public

The "Inhalers & Devices Used in Asthma" poster is available to download and in hard copy from the Asthma Society of Ireland.  The poster which was created by the Paediatric Respiratory Department of the Adelaide and Meath Hospital incorporating The National Children's Hospital and designed by the Medical Photography and Illustration Department A.M.N.C.H clearly lists all inhalers and devices used to treat asthma in Ireland at present.

 

The devices and inhalers are clearly laid out and grouped into appropriate categories; "Inhaled Corticosteroids", "Combination Inhalers", "Short Acting Bronchodilators", "Long Acting Bronchodilators" and "Spacer Devices".

 

Dr Basil Elnazir, Consultant Respiratory Paediatrician at the Adelaide and Meath incorporating the National children's Hospital commented " We are delighted to introduce this "Inhaler & Devices Used in Asthma" poster for  healthcare professionals in Ireland".
