Martin Scorsese is a well known film director from New York. He has directed many films such as Goodfellas, Raging Bull, Gangs of New York and many others and has won many awards for his films as well. Martin was diagnosed with asthma at a young age.
As a child he made no secret of his love for films. He ended up spending a lot of time in the movie theatre because he believed his asthma prevented him from defending himself on the rough New York streets where he grew up. He credits suffering from asthma as a reason for why he began making movies in the first place. A "Life Without Limits" describes Mr Scorsese's life perfectly!
