Drugs

Aspirin and other nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs can cause severe exacerbations and should be avoided in patients with a history of reacting to these agents. Close medical supervision is essential when using Beta-blocker drugs to treat blood pressure and heart disease administered orally or topically for glaucoma when these are used by patients with asthma. Aspirin and other nonsteroidal anti inflammatory drugs can cause severe exacerbations in up to 28% of adults with asthma and should be avoided in patients with a history of reacting to these agents.
